Fernando Gonzalez-Mesones is CEO of Buongiorno, part of DOCOMO Digital, from January, 2014. He has helped to the development of the company since 2001 from a start up to its current position as the European leader in mobile paid Apps and mobile payments. Within Buongiorno, he has successfully led its global B2C business since 2010, after having been President of Americas and Iberia in 2006, and named in 2008 global Director of Marketing, Product, Innovation and Technology of Buongiorno. Prior to Buongiorno, Fernando worked more than eight years and a half in Procter and Gamble, both in Europe and Latin America. Fernando holds a Law & Economics Degree from Madrid Complutense University and Business Case Study Program degree at Harvard Business School. He is Member of the Academic Council of the ISDI (Instituto Superior para el Desarrollo de Internet) and head of Mobile Internet for the Master in Internet Business, (www.mib.isdi.es). He was also co-author of the book: Mobile Marketing. The Multimedia Revolution (Ed Esic).
Chairman of Buongiorno
Mauro Del Rio is Founder and Chairman of Buongiorno S.p.A. Prior to founding Buongiorno in 1999, he had been Senior Strategy Manager at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), specialising in consultancy for the most important financial institutions and Italian wireline and wireless telecommunication companies. Before joining Accenture, Mr Del Rio worked at Ote Telecomunicazioni - the Italian branch of Marconi Group - specialising in the research and development of the first experimentation of standard technology GSM in 1989. Mauro Del Rio began his professional career as a researcher in Cefriel/Politecnico University, where he gained a Master's Degree in IT in 1988.
Buongiorno & DOCOMO Deutschland CFO
Carlo Frigato is the CFO of Buongiorno and DOCOMO Digital (European Holding of NTT DOCOMO) since January 2014, he has been the Chief Financial Officer of Buongiorno since 2000 and previously was in charge of Finance, Administration, Human Resources and Legal Affairs. Moreover, he was the CEO of B! Marketing Services, and responsible for IR and relation with Buongiorno HK. Prior to joining Buongiorno, he was Senior Manager of Finance at Accenture, where he worked for 7 years, and then worked for EDS for three years as Account Manager for key clients. Carlo holds an electronic engineering degree from the University of Genoa.
Global Marketing Director
Lucia Predolin joined Buongiorno in 2000 as part of the founding team with brand equity building responsibility. Lucia oversees marketing and advertising strategies for the full range of Buongiorno's portfolio brands globally corporate, consumer and B2B. She served also as Investor Relations Director for the Group. Mrs Predolin began her career at advertising group Saatchi & Saatchi, where she worked for over 10 years developing her career both at national and international level making her way to European Client Service Director. She graduated in Vancouver, BC and received her degree, magna cum laude, in economics and marketing from the Università Cattolica of Milan (Italy). Since February 2011 she is a member of the Mobile Entertainment Forum (MEF) EMEA Board.
Head of Technology and Delivery
Alessandro Gatteschi is responsible for the design, development, implementation and ongoing management of the Group's service and product portfolio and the operations of the systems and infrastructure supporting Buongiorno's business, coordinating a team of around 250 people based on four main hubs in Milan, Madrid, Marseille and Cape Town and with local service teams distributed over the Buongiorno geographies. He has a strong background in managing large IT-based change programs and building robust service operations factories. Before joining Buongiorno in 2008, Gatteschi worked for more than 25 years in technical, business development and management roles in EDS, FIAT Group and IBM managing business in many international settings. Alessandro Gatteschi, 53, graduated in Electronic Engineering from Turin Polytechnic.
HR and Organization Development Director
Flo, born and grown up in France, has over 15 years of HR experience in high profile international companies. Flo has been based in the UK, in France and in Italy. Graduated from the Tours & Orlèans Universities in 1986 and with a Postgraduate diploma in Personnel Management from the West England University, she started off as Personnel Officer at Brann Ltd in the UK. Most recently she was the HR Director for Hewlett Packard Italy, where she had the responsibility for all HR related processes regarding the 2,700 people strong HP Italian organization. In her role, Flo was a key partner and contributor to the top management of the successful HP Italian operations. In the past she was also member of the British Institute of Personnel and Development.
Chief Product Officer
Sylvain Brosset joined Buongiorno in November 2014 and he is responsible for the entire Buongiorno’s Product catalog in terms of quality, performance, content proposal and user experience. In his role of Chief Product Officer, he is coordinating a team of around 70 people based in Florence, Paris & NYC. Prior to joining Buongiorno, Sylvain held several keys positions with direct involvement with Product Development and Information Technology. He worked as R&D Director for Dailymotion, an online video company, with a heavy focus on Global User Experience and Mobile Applications. His previous experiences also include e-commerce platform development. Sylvain holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering (with Honors) and a Bachelor’s Degree of Mathematical & Software Engineering from Polytech’Nice – Sophia Antipolis (France).
Global Legal Counsel
Lucia Giancaspro is General Counsel of Buongiorno and also responsible of Legal Affairs in DOCOMO Digital (European Holding of NTT DOCOMO).
She is part of company since May 2014. Prior to join Buongiorno she was Head of Corporate Affairs in Fastweb SpA and then General Counsel in Falck Renewables SpA, where she worked for three years and was in charge of coordinating an international legal team.
She has matured also an international expertise in Unicredit SpA, where she worked on the squeeze-out of the main German and Austrian Bank, on the IPO of UniCredit Poland and handled one of the major cross-border corporate litigation. Lucia holds a master degree in law from the University of Milan.
